The Research Development Office (RDO) is responsible for developing and enhancing the Institute’s research capabilities through development and management of research policy, strategic plans, internal research funding mechanisms, and tracking of the Institute’s research performance.
The RDO works with the Institute Research Council and a variety of departments to:
- Identify and assess critical bottlenecks in research development support services;
- Coordinate the research policy and strategy as well as procedures and allocation of resources;
- Implement research support functions, including internal research funding and other capacity building initiatives; and
- Track the progress of research performance over time.
