Born in Italy in 1971, Dr. Marco Stefancich obtained his “Laurea” at the University of Pisa in Italy in 1995 as a student at the “Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa” and PhD in physics at the University of North Texas (TX) USA in 1998. He obtained a permanent position as researcher at the National (Italian) Institute for Research (CNR) in 2003 and co-founded a spin-off company in Italy for concentrating photovoltaic systems in 2006.

He is interested in all aspects of solar energy and sustainable development.
