Research that addresses challenges behind ensuring sufficient, cost effective and equitable access to water, while maintaining the integrity of natural water supplies and minimizing any impact on the environment.
- Future Energy Systems:
Development and deployment of technologies, systems and polices for efficient and cost effective production, delivery and use of energy with minimal impact on the environment.
- Microsystems and Advanced Materials:
Projects that explore and develop microelectronic devices and circuits as fundamental building blocks that enable current and future transformations in energy, embedded systems, medical electronics and large scale systems.
